Desk & Screen Adjusters

A screen at the wrong height costs you every hour.

A monitor set even a few centimetres too low pulls your head forward, and the further forward it travels the more load your neck and upper back carry. It is one of the most common ergonomic faults we see, and one of the cheapest to correct. Raising your screen to eye level is often the single highest-return change you can make to a workstation.

Common questions

How high should my monitor be?

Your eyes should sit level with the top third of the screen, at roughly arm's length. If you are looking down at your screen, your head travels forward and your neck carries the load.

Monitor arm or fixed riser?

An arm gives you full adjustability and clears the desk surface beneath, which suits changing positions or dual screens. A fixed riser is simpler and costs less if you have found a height that works and don't need to change it.

Will an arm fit my monitor?

Check two things: your monitor's VESA mounting pattern, usually 75x75mm or 100x100mm, and its weight against the arm's rated capacity. Most screens up to 32 inches are well covered by this range.

Can I add sit-stand to a fixed desk?

Yes. A desktop sit-stand riser raises your screen and keyboard together, giving you standing capability without replacing your desk.

Get the screen right and your neck stops compensating.
