Common questions

Vertical mouse or ergonomic keyboard first?

Follow the symptom. Forearm or outer-wrist discomfort points to the mouse. Tension across the base of both wrists points to the keyboard. If you are unsure, the mouse is usually the more noticeable change.

How long does it take to adjust to a vertical mouse?

Most people adapt within three to seven days. Accuracy dips briefly at first, then returns as your hand learns the new grip.

What's the difference between split and wave-shaped keyboards?

A split keyboard separates the key halves so your wrists sit straight and your shoulders stay open, offering the greater correction. A wave-shaped board is a gentler curve with a cushioned palm rest, and is an easier transition from a standard keyboard.

Do I still need a wrist rest?

If your keyboard has a cushioned palm rest built in, no. The goal is to keep your wrists neutral rather than bent upwards, and to avoid resting hard on a sharp desk edge while typing.
