Sit to Stand Desks

Sitting still is the problem. These desks are the fix.

Static sitting is one of the most consistent drivers of musculoskeletal strain and afternoon energy loss in desk-based work. The issue isn't sitting itself, it's holding one position for hours, loading the same discs, muscles and joints without relief. A height-adjustable desk breaks that cycle by making posture change effortless enough that you'll actually do it.

Common questions

How much should I stand each day?

Most ergonomic guidance suggests alternating rather than committing to either posture. A common starting point is 15 to 30 minutes standing per hour, built up gradually. The benefit comes from the change itself, not from standing for as long as possible.

What height range will I need?

Most Australian workers are comfortably covered by a 73 to 122cm range. As a guide, your elbows should sit at roughly 90 degrees with relaxed shoulders when typing, in both seated and standing positions. Taller users should check the upper limit before buying.

What size desktop should I choose?

120cm suits a single monitor with a laptop or documents alongside. 140cm is the better choice for dual monitors, giving you room to keep both screens at a comfortable viewing distance.

Can I add sit-stand capability without replacing my desk?

Yes. A desktop riser sits on your existing desk and raises your screen and keyboard together, delivering most of the postural benefit at a lower cost. You'll find these in our Desk & Screen Adjusters collection.

Movement is the mechanism. Everything here is built to make it easy.
